If you enjoy our natural environment, you will love exploring the surrounding area with its mountain ash forests and alpine walks. You can take a short bushwalk on our property or a longer 2 hour circuit starting from your cottage.

Lyrebird Cottages Circuit 2hr walk medium – hard

From the cottages you can do a circular walk descending through the mountain ash forest and climbing back up along the Old Coach Road which runs parallel to Nyora Rd. The walk involves climbing over or under several fallen trees so a medium level of fitness is required.
